The Sidewalk Removal/Replacement Machine is device used to gradually replace current sidewalk infrastructure with one more conducive to pedestrian exploration of public environments.

In order to ease the transition from sidewalk-fixed public spaces to post-sidewalk ones, a strategy of gradual disintegration of current sidewalk infrastructure would be implemented. The Sidewalk Remover/Replacement Machine replaces deteriorated sidewalk segments with sod over a period of several decades. This would coincide with the gradual integration of post-sidewalk devices like Biflatables, allowing for greater freedom of exploration for pedestrian users.
